Sometimes, no matter what we do, things just don’t work the way we want them to.
Sometimes, God just wants us to disconnect, get alone with him, and allow yourself to be still.
As wired for action as we are, this is not an easy task. But it is oh so worth it.
I’ve been known to push until I have nothing left to give. And the frustrating thing is that when I get to that point, I usually accomplish very little. You, too?
What I have found is that those times are typically instances when God is trying to get my attention. My tendency is to brush off His still, small voice and fill that channel up with a long list of things I could or should be doing.

I’ve found that there are some simple ways I can disconnect from the busyness of life, be still and let God back to the forefront of my mind, where He belongs.
